RDDS - RMA Procedure

Despite our greatest care, sometimes it may be necessary for you to return goods back to us.  In such cases we would very much appreciate if you could request an RMA (Return Material Authorisation) number in order to handle your return, complaint or repair as fast and efficiently as possible.

You can request an RMA number by contacting our Logistics Administrator or Sales Administrator.

Logistics Administrator:    sheila.boyd@rdds.co.uk
Sales Administrator:        tom.morrison@rdds.co.uk

Please have the following information to hand:

  1. Company address and contact (Telephone number, fax number or e-mail address)
  2. Company customer number
  3. Invoice number
  4. Part number
  5. Quantity of parts to be returned
  6. Detailed failure description – reason for return

By return you will receive the RMA number (by fax or e-mail)

RMA terms and conditions:

  • RDDS will not accept returns without a valid RMA number
  • Please ensure that the RMA number is clearly marked on the proforma Invoice including all products, boxes, packages, and accompanying paperwork.
  • If you are returning goods from outside the EU, you should return them DDP (Delivered Duty Paid)
  • It is preferable that the original packing, including anti-static and foam wrapping be used on all returned products.
  • RMA numbers are only valid for six months
  • Any additional costs which have been incurred by RDDS due to the non-compliance with this procedure may be passed on to the customer.

Please help us to process your repairs as quickly as possible by following the above procedure.  Thank you for your co-operation in this matter.
