RDDS’ provenance in the development of Control Units began midway through the company’s 25 year lifespan when one of our customers came to us with a unique problem. RDDS’ Design team were able to efficiently develop an on-brief, and on-budget solution for their needs.

Since then, our range of Control Panels and Capabilities have expanded significantly, from the development of DO178 and DO254/EUROCAE ED-80 solutions up to DAL B to ergonomic solutions for the most unique of control requirements.

Our off the shelf range is designed to be system-agnostic, where possible using generic interface options such as PS/2 or USB to allow for broader integration opportunities. As these units have been designed by RDDS in-house, modification is a much more efficient process, with many requirements being supportable via changes to Firmware rather than fundamental changes to the form factor that would result in requalification.
