As part of RDDS’ ongoing commitment to hardware reliability, our displays feature autonomous monitoring of unit health, baud rate and signal integrity, which will provide advanced warning should the display cease to perform at peak proficiency. Meaning that if there’s an issue, RDDS can identify issues quickly to reduce AoG impact to your mission.

In situations where display control is required at a distance, or on multi-console platforms, RDDS develops Ancillary controllers in a wide variety of configurations, controlling video switching, display settings, or indeed programmable function keys for integration with Mission Software or DVRs.

Alongside our standard 16:9 and 4:3 units, RDDS has experience in designing Displays to meet any size requirement, from large format 40’’+ Touchscreen Displays, to non-standard aspect ratio units designed to fit in even the most awkward spaces on your console.

For applications where console space is at a premium, RDDS can offer a remote video processor solution, reducing the display depth by up to 60%. Allowing cleaner and more convenient integration of autonomous hardware, Remote Video Processor modifications have proven to be an ever-popular solution amongst our customers.
