The VSU500 is another of RDDS’ highly customisable Video Management Solution, offering 4 channels of size and format scan conversion, and an additional fifth channel providing video pass-through. Integrators searching for a robust, customisable SD video management solution should look no further than the VSU500 to support their needs.
The VSU500 supports a huge amount of different SD Video Signals, Inputs and Outputs can be defined to any of the following:

The Unit’s conversion functionality is fully autonomous, with channel switching provided through either Ethernet or RS422 comms. These comms channels also allow the user to define cropping and resolution upscaling of the Video Source.
The VSU500 does not require a Fan, being cooled by passive thermal conduction, this means the unit is watertight, and is far less likely to be subject to mechanical failure.
