Supporting the Next Generation of Engineers at RDDS

At RDDS, one of the key pillars of our success is our ongoing commitment to engaging with our local community and supporting the development of young engineers and professionals. We strongly believe in investing in future talent and are proud to offer a range of opportunities — from graduate roles to placements for T-level students and apprenticeships — that provide real, hands-on experience in the aerospace and defence industry.

As part of this commitment, we’ve built a close relationship with EKC Canterbury College, regularly welcoming T-level students into our team. We were honoured to recently receive a commendation for the second year in a row the Engineering Employer Award from the college — a recognition that reflects the positive impact of our collaboration and the meaningful opportunities we strive to offer students.

We’d also like to extend a special congratulations to Dylan, one of our current T-level students working alongside our production team, who was awarded the Engineering Student Award. This is a fantastic achievement and a testament to his dedication and enthusiasm throughout his placement.
